The 80th Annual Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration will add a world championship class for the Amateur Four & Under Park Performance division.  Previously, the Celebration had an amateur park performance division but did not designate the four and under in the amateur division. There has previously been an open four and under class at Celebration. The amateur four and under class will be a preliminary to the Amateur Park Performance World Grand Championship.

“We are excited to add this class at The Celebration. This division has seen tremendous growth and we felt the time was right to add a four and under division so that our younger horses had a better chance to compete against horses more closely in age rather than against aged horses,” said Celebration CEO Mike Inman.

In addition, The Celebration will donate commemorative medallions to any horse show that adds the division to give to the winner of the class. The first horse show to take advantage of this will be the 50th Annual National Trainers’ Show.

“When we added the amateur five year old division, The Celebration did the medallions and it was well-received and the class was added at a majority of shows. We hope this will be the case with the new four and under park performance division as well,” concluded Inman.
